One person shot after business owner confronts burglary suspects in South Seattle

SEATTLE — One man was injured in a shooting after a business owner confronted suspects who were attempting to break into his business in south Seattle early Friday morning. 

The person who was shot was the business owner’s friend. It is unclear exactly what led up to the shooting. 

Around 2 a.m., a business owner called 911 and reported that multiple people were attempting to break into his property on the 3500 block of Rainier Avenue South and that he was going to confront them.
