One dead after vehicle fleeing DUI stop crashes into Everett building

A car fleeing a DUI stop crashed into a building in Everett, leaving one man dead and another hospitalized.

EVERETT, Wash. —  One man is dead and another was hospitalized after a car fleeing a DUI stop crashed into a building in Everett early Saturday morning.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 4300 block of Rucker Avenue, near 44th Street. Washington State Patrol said the incident began in South Everett during a DUI suspicion stop at West Marilyn Avenue and Evergreen Way.
