SEATTLE — A Seattle police officer shot a suspect in a domestic violence call in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood on Thursday night. During the exchange of gunfire, the officer was also injured and is expected to be OK.
The Seattle Police Department said the shooting occurred around 6 p.m. near Northwest 62nd Street and 28th Avenue Northwest. Police initially responded to the area when a woman reported someone was following her, said Chief Shon Barnes.
