PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — Jeremiah Dunlap says he has nothing left to lose.
The former owner of Rainier Recovery Centers, a chain of Pierce County substance abuse treatment facilities, sat down for his first broadcast interview since state investigators suspended his business licenses last November, alleging fraud, corruption, and substandard practices that put vulnerable patients at risk.
“I tried to help people,” Dunlap insisted. “The Department of Health did not do a good investigation at all.”
