Northbound SR 167 reduced to one lane near Pacific after vehicle strikes bridge supports

The crash happened the morning of Sept. 23. The lane reduction has caused significant traffic slow downs.

PACIFIC, Wash. — The three northbound lanes of state Route 167 have been reduced to one lane near milepost 11 “until further notice” after a vehicle struck supports under a bridge on Sept. 23.

Surveillance video obtained by KING 5 shows a commercial vehicle driving beneath the bridge with tall equipment. Shortly afterward, the equipment hits the bridge’s supports, causing a partial collapse.
