TUKWILA, Wash — All northbound lanes of Interstate 5 were closed at the Interstate 405 interchange in Tukwila following a shooting Friday afternoon. The Washington State Patrol announced just before 3 p.m. that the road was set to reopen “shortly.”
A person was shot in the leg while traveling on the freeway. Police determined that the gunshot came from inside the vehicle and investigated. WSP announced that the incident poses no danger to the public.
