Residents that live along Southeast Edgewick Road in North Bend are essentially stuck in their homes after heavy rains washed out the road.
NORTH BEND, Wash. — A North Bend road has been completely closed due to erosion from days of heavy rain, trapping some people in their homes.
Southeast Edgewick Road was restricted to one lane Tuesday evening, but King County Emergency Management closed the road completely by Wednesday morning.
A King County worker estimated that there are about 15 to 20 households that use Edgewick Road. Residents are unable to get out while the road remains closed.
