No injuries reported after small plane crashes in Bellevue residential area

The plane ended up in a wooded area near the Waterline Trail. No injuries were reported.

BELLEVUE, Wash. — A single-engine plane crashed in a residential area of Bellevue around 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Two people were on the Cirrus SR-22 at the time and suffered no injuries, according to the Bellevue Fire Department (BFD). They were able to climb out of the plane when it landed.

According to the Bellevue Police Department, a parachute was deployed, appearing to slow the plane during the crash. The plane ended up in a wooded area near a residential neighborhood.
