Issaquah will activate new school speed zone cameras on Newport Way near Issaquah Valley Elementary starting Oct. 17.
ISSAQUAH, Wash. — Drivers should slow down near Issaquah Valley Elementary School after the city installed new school speed zone cameras on Newport Way Northwest. The cameras will be active starting on Friday, Oct. 17.
The cameras will enforce the school zone speed limit Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Drivers caught going more than 25 mph in the 20 mph school zone will receive a $124 ticket. Vehicles can be cited multiple times per day for violations.
