A Sound Transit planning study explored integrating the Armory parcel into the Ballard Link Extension near the planned Smith Cove Station.
SEATTLE — The Washington National Guard is preparing to relocate its Interbay Armory to North Bend, a move that could free up one of the area’s largest remaining industrial parcels for redevelopment.
The Guard purchased property at 14410 468th Ave. S. over the summer, but funding for the new facility remains uncertain. A spokesperson said similar timelines have taken five to seven years.
