A Stanwood man sues Snohomish County, alleging that public access to Warm Beach is being restricted by barriers and signs.
STANWOOD, Wash. — A Stanwood man is suing Snohomish County over what he calls an erosion of public rights along Warm Beach.
K’allen Specht grew up along the shoreline, where childhood memories were filled with carefree days on the water.
“We would come down and just mess around at the beach,” Specht said. “I see times when I was allowed a piece of freedom and this was how I expressed it.”
But Specht fears future generations will never experience that same freedom.
