Murray, Cantwell demand answers on deadly Iran school strike

WASHINGTON, D.C., USA — Washington Senators Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell joined other senators calling on Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to publicly answer questions about a deadly strike on a girls’ school in Iran that reportedly killed at least 168 people, most of them children.

In a March 11 letter, the senators called for a swift investigation into the Feb. 28 strike on an elementary school in Minab, Iran, and any other possible U.S. military actions that caused civilian harm.
