Motorcyclist traveling at a ‘high rate of speed’ killed in collision in Bellevue

Police said the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed on 116th Avenue NE when it crashed into a vehicle heading westbound through the intersection.

BELLEVUE, Wash. — An 18-year-old motorcyclist was killed during a collision in Bellevue Friday night, according to the Bellevue Police Department.

The Bellevue Police Department said the collision happened around 9:40 p.m. at the intersection of NE 8th Street and 116th Avenue Northeast. 

Police said the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed on 116th Avenue NE when it crashed into a vehicle heading westbound through the intersection.
