A 45-year-old mother is in custody following the death of her young son, Seattle police say.
SEATTLE — Police are investigating after a mother reportedly killed her 4-year-old son in Seattle on Thursday, according to the Seattle Police Department.
Authorities responded to the 6600 block of Roosevelt Way NE at the Cedar Crossing Apartments for concerns about a child’s welfare around 4:15 p.m.
At the apartments, officers found the boy and attempted life-saving measures, but he died at the scene. Police did not say how the boy died or exactly where he was found.
