SEQUIM, Wash. — The body of a man recovered in Dungeness Bay on Sunday is believed to be that of Ty Coone, a 21-year-old kayaker and fisherman from Sequim who vanished last month, authorities said.
Clallam County sheriff’s deputies said they are “highly confident” the remains are Coone’s, citing identifying tattoos. The coroner’s office is working to confirm the identity.
