Milton deploys cameras to target speeding and red-light violations

The city is actively enforcing violations after a 30-day “warning” period along Milton Way.

MILTON, Wash. — The city of Milton is actively enforcing traffic violations through the use of cameras, targeting drivers in three strategic areas after completing a 30-day pilot program.

During the test-run, drivers were given warnings for violations, but now they’ll receive fines through the mail.

The three cameras are located along Milton Way, with signage alerting drivers to their presence.

Two of the cameras are aimed at targeting speeding drivers near Surprise Lake Middle School and Milton Community Park.
