SEATTLE — Seattle City Council will vote on renovations at Memorial Stadium after a committee approved plans on Wednesday.
The vote next week addresses an overlooked part of Seattle Center, which recently saw upgrades to the Space Needle.
Seattle Public Schools will then vote on the renovations June 4. If approved, it would be the official go-ahead, setting up a tentative open house and groundbreaking later this summer.
“Your continued support for our community gathering place is greatly appreciated,” said Will Ludlam of the Seattle Center Advisory Commission.
