SEATTLE — Mayor-elect Katie Wilson addressed media on Thursday in her first major speech since winning Seattle’s mayoral race, following Mayor Bruce Harrell’s concession.
Wilson began her speech reaffirming that she originally had no intention of running for public office. She said the decision came following a realization that Seattle’s government and working people were “out of step” with one another.
