A Seattle neighborhood awoke to intense heat Thursday morning after a blaze broke out at a property.
SEATTLE — Neighbors are waking up to fire and heat damage on their roofs and some vehicles Thursday morning after a “massive” fire broke out in Seattle.
The fire began around 5:15 a.m. Thursday in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. Neighbors say an accessory dwelling unit or ADU went up in flames on 17th Avenue South.
“I stood up out of bed and I looked out the window because its over my bed and saw this massive fire,” neighbor Samuel Post told KING 5 at the scene.
