TACOMA, Wash. — A man was arrested after throwing thousands of nails onto state Route 16 in Tacoma over the weekend.
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) reported that a pedestrian was walking on westbound SR 16 just before 8 a.m. Sunday morning. The on-ramp near South Union Avenue was partially blocked as a result.
A witness said he saw a man throwing what he believed to be rocks onto the roadway and walking through all lanes of the highway through heavy traffic.
