Police said there was a man approaching children on the playground when he followed a family to their car and tried to kidnap a child from the vehicle.
BURIEN, Wash. — A man is accused of pretending to be a department agent to kidnap a child Tuesday afternoon at a Burien park.
Deputies were called to the Lake Burien School Memorial Park around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday for a disturbance. Police said there was a man approaching children on the playground.
The 31-year-old suspect allegedly told a family at the park he was a department agent and he would take their grandchild, according to court
