The suspect was found shortly after he fled the scene and was booked into jail for vehicular homicide.
KENT, Wash. — A 39-year-old Kent man was killed in a hit-and-run collision early Thursday morning, according to the Kent Police Department.
The victim was crossing Pacific Highway South outside of a crosswalk when he was struck by a silver SUV. Kent police, firefighters and medics were called to the scene at around 2:27 a.m., and attempted lifesaving efforts, but the victim died of his injuries.
