A witness described seeing a group of people at the park arguing minutes before gun shots were fired.
SEATTLE — A 35-year-old man remains in critical condition after being shot multiple times in the torso and neck Saturday night at Golden Gardens Park.
A 22-year-old suspect allegedly opened fire on the victim. Police released the suspect on Sunday “pending further information,” according to the Seattle Police Department.
Seattle police say the shooting occurred around 8 p.m. following a verbal altercation. A trauma doctor nearby stepped in to provide emergency aid before the victim was rushed to Harborview Medical Center.
