Man climbs Washington mountains to raise awareness of cousin’s ongoing hit-and-run case

EVERETT, Wash. — An Everett man is going to new heights in memory of a loved one. 

KING 5 spoke exclusively with a man on a mission, climbing mountains during his pursuit of justice.

“I’m searching for answers, my family is searching for answers and anything will help,” said Austin Rathvon. 

“A part of you has been taken out and you can’t get it back, it doesn’t get back,” said Austin. “The word is so overused, but it’s so true: closure. That’s all we’re looking for.”
