Man arrested in suspected drive-by shooting in Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood

The shooting happened around 1:37 a.m. A nearby Tesla caught the man firing a gun, SPD said.

SEATTLE — The Seattle Police Department (SPD) arrested a 21-year-old man early Sunday morning following a drive-by shooting in the Pioneer Square neighborhood.

Around 1:37 a.m., officers in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue South heard gunfire coming from a nearby parking lot. When they responded, they cleared the area and found evidence of a shooting, along with two damaged vehicles, according to SPD.
