Man arrested in Belltown after shattering two dozen windows, police say

Several businesses and residential properties were hit during the Tuesday morning vandalism spree.

SEATTLE — A 25-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after Seattle police say he shattered more than two dozen windows with a large drill bit in Belltown.

He was taken into custody in the 300 block of South Wall Street after multiple 911 callers reported seeing the man smashing the windows along Third Avenue.
