Man arrested after fire breaks out during disturbance at Shoreline home

SHORELINE, Wash. — A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire broke out at a Shoreline home Sunday afternoon following a reported disturbance.

King County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a 911 call around 2:20 p.m., reporting a disturbance at a home in the 700 block of N. 148th Street. The caller described a dispute between himself and a tenant or visitor. By the time deputies arrived, a fire had started inside the home.

Deputies observed flames inside the residence while smoke billowed out.
