ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. — Over 30 years, James “Jaime” Benavidez racked up 61 arrests, 31 guilty pleas – nine of them felonies – and seven accusations that he had disappeared after being released on parole.
But on June 24, 2024, after completing his most recent stint behind bars, he was released.
