Man accused in deadly Gorge Amphitheatre shooting pleads not guilty in military court

MCCHORD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. — A man accused of killing two people and injuring several others at a music festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre in 2023 pleaded not guilty to murder charges in military court Friday.

James M. Kelly is charged with two counts of murder in the deaths of Josilyn Ruiz and Brandy Escamilla on June 17, 2023. He is also charged with attempted murder of five other people and a controlled substance violation.
