PORT ANGELES, Wash. — An 18-year-old man died after falling over a waterfall in Olympic National Park, according to the agency. The Sol Duc Falls area remains closed as officials work to recover his body.
On June 8, the man slipped when walking across rocks at the top of the falls and fell. He resurfaced at the bottom of the waterfall, but then went back under, according to witnesses.
