Customers flocked to the Beacon Hill market on Saturday for its grand reopening under new ownership.
SEATTLE — Saturday marked a fresh start for an iconic fruit and produce stand in Seattle’s Beacon Hill, reopening for business. MacPherson’s Fruit and Produce reopened on March 9 after it closed last fall following nearly 40 years in business.
“I was not expecting it to reopen, I thought it was going to be another Seattle business that disappeared,” said Daniella Nicholas.
