Lynnwood minimum wage would increase over $3 under proposal

The wage would rise to $20.24 over three years.

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — A group called Fair Pay Lynnwood announced plans Monday to push for raising the city’s minimum wage from $16.66 per hour to $20.24 over three years, starting next July.

The proposed increase would only affect businesses with 15 or more employees or those with annual gross revenues of at least $2 million.

Lynnwood City Councilmember Josh Binda is leading the effort, citing concerns about federal food assistance cuts under the Trump administration.
