City council candidate Bryce Owings faces scrutiny over past domestic violence convictions, but he emphasizes personal growth and commitment to positive change.

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — Just over a month until election day and a local city council candidate is facing questions about his convictions for domestic violence. Bryce Owings is running for Lynnwood City Council. He is now under the microscope and telling his story.

Owings admits to his convictions for domestic violence in 2020. He says at that time both he and his wife were struggling with alcohol issues, but today they are five years sober and he says he’s a better man for it.
