SEATTLE — A colder system moving through western Washington could bring spotty lowland snow or a rain-snow mix early Thursday, especially among higher elevations.
Snow levels are expected to drop to around 1,000 to 1,500 feet by Thursday morning, low enough that a brief burst of heavier precipitation or a strong wind gust could temporarily pull snow levels down even farther. That raises the chance for light accumulations in some valleys and elevated neighborhoods, while most lowland areas will likely remain rainy.
