The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at the high school on Wednesday afternoon.
EVERGREEN, Colo. — At least three students were shot Wednesday afternoon at Evergreen High School, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
St. Anthony’s Hospital confirmed to 9NEWS they have three patients from the shooting who are in critical condition.
Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Jacki Kelley said the shooting was first reported at 12:34 p.m. Wednesday. The shooting happened on school grounds, but it’s not known whether it was inside or outside the school, Kelley said.
