LEAVENWORTH, Wash. — In the rugged foothills near Leavenworth, a quiet mountain community is now the epicenter of the manhunt for Travis Decker, a former Army Ranger suspected of killing his three daughters.

Dean Summers, a longtime resident and groundskeeper for several cabins in the area, took KING 5 past the roadblocks Friday to check on properties he manages—including his parents’ home.
