LGBTQ+ leaders oppose a Christian rally at Gas Works Park, citing bigotry fears, but city insists it’s protected by the First Amendment.

SEATTLE — A Christian worship concert and rally planned for this weekend at Gas Works Park is drawing strong opposition from LGBTQ+ leaders who say the event spreads bigotry under the guise of religion. 

City officials, however, say they cannot block the gathering because it is protected under the First Amendment.
