Lawsuit alleges SeaTac-area Motel 6 staff ignored signs of child sex trafficking

A woman says in a new lawsuit she was trafficked when she was 14 for years at three Motel 6 properties near SeaTac.

SEATAC, Wash. — A Washington woman has filed a federal lawsuit alleging she was trafficked for sex as a minor at three Motel 6 locations in SeaTac and that the motel operators knew or should have known what was happening.

The complaint, filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Seattle, seeks damages of more than $100,000.
