Kirkland high school theater manager to be released from ICE custody

Fernando Rocha is set to be released from the Northwest Detention Center after spending nearly two weeks in ICE custody.

TACOMA, Wash. — A Juanita High School theater manager who has been in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody for nearly two weeks has been granted bond by an immigration judge.

Fernando Rocha, 45, who has been in custody since July 17, had a hearing before immigration Judge Tammy Fitting in Tacoma on Tuesday. The judge granted Rocha $10,000 bond.

Rocha is set to be released from the Northwest ICE Processing Center where he is currently being held.
