King County to meet with City of Burien as camping ban amendment faces legal challenge

BURIEN, Wash. — The latest step in a contentious back-and-forth between the City of Burien and King County over a recently amended camping ban comes Wednesday, as the two sides are scheduled to meet to discuss a “mutually beneficial solution.”

In early March, the Burien City Council approved an amendment to its existing ordinance that would create more limitations for people experiencing homelessness in the city.
