ISSAQUAH, Wash. — A trail camera set up to capture wildlife instead caught something no one expected: a tree sliding down a hillside in Issaquah’s Grand Ridge Park. That discovery has now led to a multi-million dollar lawsuit.

King County is suing several homeowners, accusing them of illegally cutting down more than 140 trees on protected public land. The lawsuit alleges the cutting was done to improve property owners’ views of West Tiger Mountain.
