King County Sexual Assault Resource Center set for 35th annual ‘BE LOUD’ advocacy event

Almost half of the 5,000 sexual assault survivors helped annually are children under 18, according to the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center.

RENTON, Wash. — About 5,000 survivors of sexual assault and their families are helped annually by the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center (KCSARC). Almost half of the 5,000 individuals helped are children under 18.

KCSARC is based in Renton. The center’s staff said that those stats might surprise community members.
