King County Metro removes bus over a week after crash into indoor skate park

Metro said the bus was hit by a car, causing it to swerve and crash. Skate Like a Girl, a nonprofit, was using the space. Now they’re scrambling for a new location.

SEATTLE — On Thursday afternoon, King County Metro safely removed one of its buses from a Seattle building. For more than a week, the bus was lodged in the side of an indoor skate park near South Jackson Street and 16th Avenue South.
