KING COUNTY, Wash. — Embattled King County Assessor John Wilson was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of stalking, according to jail records.
Wilson was booked into the King County Correctional Facility at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday. Seattle police confirmed that Wilson was arrested for suspicion of stalking and violating a court order. His first appearance in court is expected around 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
The King County Council unanimously voted in early June to express no confidence in Wilson following public allegations of stalking and harassment against Wilson by his former girlfriend
