King County Assessor John Wilson in jail on suspicion of stalking, violating court order

Wilson was booked into King County Jail late Wednesday night, according to jail records.

KING COUNTY, Wash. — Embattled King County Assessor John Wilson was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of stalking, according to jail records.

Wilson was booked into the King County Correctional Facility at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday. Seattle police confirmed that Wilson was arrested for suspicion of stalking and violating a court order. His first appearance in court is expected around 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

The King County Council unanimously voted in early June to express no confidence in Wilson following public allegations of stalking and harassment against Wilson by his former girlfriend
