Kent woman charged with vehicular homicide in fatal crash

A Kent woman faces vehicular homicide charges after a wrong-way crash killed two women in Sumner.

SUMNER, Wash. — A woman suspected of driving under the influence has been charged in a wrong-way crash that killed two women in Sumner.

Angela Sharee Westwood, 50, of Kent was charged Monday with two counts of vehicular homicide and one count of reckless driving.

Westwood appeared in court Monday afternoon, and a not-guilty plea was entered on her behalf. A Pierce County judge set bail at $750,000.
