Prosecutors accuse a 51-year-old Kent man of shooting two people to death and assaulting two men in the span of one weekend.
KENT, Wash. — A 51-year-old man is facing charges after prosecutors say he beat two men – one with a hammer – and shot two other people to death within one weekend last month.
Alphonzo Kelly, of Kent, was charged on Aug. 1 with two counts of first-degree murder, unlawful possession of a firearm and second-degree assault, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. This follows the previous July 15 charges of second-degree assault and unlawful imprisonment.
