One person died and another was taken to a hospital after being rescued by Seattle Fire Department medics on Friday afternoon.
SEATTLE — One person is dead and another is injured after being pulled from the water near the Ballard Locks.
Seattle Fire Department crews responded to the 3200 block of Commodore Way shortly before 2:30 p.m. Friday after reports of a kayaker in distress.
Rescue swimmers were deployed and pulled two people from the water, according to updates posted by the department on X.
