Tuesday’s ballot drop extended Wilson’s lead over Harrell to 1,346 votes. She was ahead by just 91 votes on Monday. The race is still too close to call.
SEATTLE — Katie Wilson is poised to become Seattle’s next mayor after pulling even further ahead of Bruce Harrell in Tuesday’s ballot drop.
Though there are still about 1,400 ballots left to be counted, an elections expert told KING 5 that it would be “virtually impossible” for Harrell to close in on Wilson’s lead at this point.
