TACOMA, Wash. — Washington’s law that would require clergy to report child abuse or neglect, no matter how they learned about it, was put on hold by a federal judge on Friday.
Catholic leaders who filed a lawsuit against the legislation were granted an injunction by Judge David Estudillo with the U.S. District Court of Western Washington.
