Jewish Voice for Peace Seattle calls for ceasefire in Gaza, end to US military aid to Israel

The protest happened the same day the Senate passed a bill that would provide roughly $15 billion in military aid to Israel.

SEATTLE — Jewish Voice for Peace Seattle gathered outside the Federal Office Building in downtown Seattle, marking Passover to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and for the United States to stop sending money and arms to Israel.

“This holiday of liberation urges every single one of us to step up our commitment to the liberation of Palestinian people,” one of the JVP organizers said to the crowd.
